Product/To get more customers/Reviews
Ask every customer for a review, every time
After every clean, every customer gets an email asking how it went, with a button to your own Google listing. Same email for everyone, sent once the job is marked done, while the kitchen still shines. If something went wrong, there's a way to tell you privately too.
What changes
Reviews without the remembering
Forgetting to ask for reviews in a busy week
A review request after every job
Finding out about a bad clean from a public review
Every customer asked, the same way
A review count that doesn't match the work you do
An alert the moment a score is low
How it works
One ask, every customer, every clean
It runs off the job itself. Mark the clean done and the request goes out.
When the job is marked done, the customer gets an email from your company name asking how it went. It goes out while the oven is still the cleanest thing in the house, not a week later when they've cooked in it twice.
The button goes to your Google Business Profile, not a page of ours. The reviews land where people in your area are looking, and the customer doesn't need an account with anyone except Google.
Nobody is sorted into happy and unhappy first. Google's policy forbids discouraging negative reviews or asking only happy customers, and reviews collected that way can be removed. So everyone gets the same email and the same link, the 5-star regular and the customer whose mirror was streaky.
KnoxGoogle's rule is ask everyone. I like a rule with no loopholes. Fewer meetings.
Next to the Google button there's a link to tell you privately. It sits beside the Google link, never in front of it. Some customers would rather tell you the baseboards were missed than tell the internet, and you'd rather know on Tuesday than find out when they don't rebook.
The review request is one of the eight ready-made automations. Edit the wording until it sounds like you, and the customer's name, the crew and the address fill in for each job. Turn it off if you ever need to.

Questions
What owners ask about reviews
Can I send only happy customers to Google?
No, and you shouldn't want to. Google's review policy doesn't allow asking only satisfied customers for reviews, and a listing caught doing it can lose reviews. More Knocks asks every customer the same way. The low-score alert is there so you can fix a bad clean, not hide it.
How do I get more Google reviews for my cleaning business?
Ask every customer, every time, right after the clean while it's fresh, and make it one tap to leave the review. Most customers who don't leave reviews were simply never asked. Doing great work and asking consistently beats any trick.
What should I do about a low rating?
Call the customer the same day. Listen, don't argue, and offer to come back and fix what was missed. Many owners find a customer who sees a problem fixed fast becomes more loyal than one who never had a problem. Reply to public reviews calmly and briefly.
