Product/To get more customers/Email campaigns
Your past customers are your cheapest new bookings
Tell Knox the offer in a sentence. He writes the email and the subject line, picks the past customers it should go to and saves it as a draft. You read it, change what you like and press send. Consent and unsubscribes are tracked for you.
What changes

How it works
One sentence in, a draft out
The slow part of email marketing is the blank page. That part's gone.
KnoxI wrote the subject line. Please don't change it to "Newsletter."
"20% off a spring deep clean for one-time customers, ends April 30." That's the whole brief. The email and the subject line come back as a draft in your company's name, with the discount code already in it.
KnoxI wrote the subject line. Please don't change it to "Newsletter."
Every customer's email is already in one list, because they booked through you. Pick past customers, one-time customers or a service type, like everyone who's had a deep clean. Unsubscribed customers are left out.
Knox drafts, you decide. Read it, fix the line that doesn't sound like you, take someone off the list, then send. A campaign never leaves on its own.
Canada's anti-spam law wants consent and a working unsubscribe on every marketing email. More Knocks tracks who's subscribed, puts an unsubscribe in every campaign and keeps anyone who clicks it off your lists. Checking that your list has consent is still on you; the questions below cover the basics.
A few hundred emails at once from a small company's address is how you end up in spam folders. Big sends go out inside a sending limit, so your receipts and reminders keep landing in inboxes too.

Questions
What owners ask about email campaigns
Can I email my past cleaning customers in Canada?
Usually, yes. Under Canada's anti-spam law (CASL), a promotional email needs consent. A customer who bought a clean from you in the last two years counts as implied consent, and the two years run from their most recent purchase. Someone who only asked for a quote counts for six months from the request. After that you need express consent, meaning they said yes to your emails. (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, S.C. 2010, c. 23, s. 10, checked October 23, 2026. Ask a lawyer if your list came from anywhere unusual.)
What does every marketing email need under CASL?
Your business name, a way to reach you (an address plus an email, phone number or web page), and an unsubscribe that works. Unsubscribes have to be honoured within 10 business days, and the unsubscribe link has to keep working for at least 60 days after you send. More Knocks adds the unsubscribe to every campaign and keeps unsubscribed customers off your lists.
Does Knox send campaigns on his own?
No. Knox writes the email and the subject line, picks the past customers it should go to and saves it as a draft. Nothing goes out until you read it and press send.
What emails should a cleaning company send?
The ones with a reason behind them. A spring or move-out season offer, a follow-up on a quote that went quiet, a discount code for one-time customers who haven't been back, gift cards before the holidays. One good email a month to the right group beats a weekly newsletter nobody opens.
How often should I email past customers?
Once or twice a month at most, and only when you have something worth saying. Every send is a chance for someone to unsubscribe, so make each one count. Sending limits in More Knocks also space out big sends to protect your inbox reputation.
Can I include a discount code or gift card?
Yes. Discount codes and gift cards from More Knocks can go straight into a campaign, and the code applies when the customer books, with no math on your side. You can see afterwards how many times the code was used.
